I didn't know where else to put this, and given the Crows are the closest AFL club to the Roosters, I thought I'd put it here.

I sent it to the club, and have not gotten any response as yet.
Might never get any.

Thoughts anyone?

I was also a little bit hesitant on the font, just seems a little to rounded. I think it would look great to contrast the circular motions of the rooster with a much larger, harder, bolder looking "ROOSTERS" font.

But the animation and overall design is absolute gold. I love your work, esp those alt. Port jumpers you did earlier in the year.

But the squarer fonts look too American, don't you think?

I was playing on the circular motions, as you describe them, by choosing a circular font to compliment them.

The other version I did was with a baseball type font.
But I can't really get it fitting with the rooster.

Well, they currently use the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.
However, the Ti-Cats recently updated their logo.
So Glenelg would take their new logo and plonk it over their existing logo.

Fair points. I suppose I'd just like to see the ROOSTERS a bit clearer. A little bit larger? Or maybe make the font a bit larger, with the rooster leaning over the top of it, rather than so far on the side. Your attention is drawn to the picture rather than the font first and then find yourself back-tracking to the font. So the impact is a little slower and less effective.

Well i guess you learn something knew everyday. I did not know that!
Ill stick with the current logo i rekon, their new one is bland.

It's a good looking logo. Certainly better than the "chicken shop sign" logo that North currently have. :)

I don't think North would be in the market for a new logo. They recently had a smug crack on their website at the progressive SANFL clubs that have sold oval naming rights - claiming that North would never sell off the "tradition" of Prospect Oval. So I can't see how they would dump the "tradition" of their current logo. :confused:
 
Looks an awful lot like the Rooster on the header of "The Roost" which was "borrowed" from an American site by Punk Rooster, who then changed the colours to Red & White

Well, if you look at the opening post, I've said exactly which logo I used.
It is the Coastal Carolina University, Chanticleer logo.
However, given some of the SANFL clubs use 'borrowed' logos, I don't see it being a problem.

Yale Bulldogs - Centrals.
Hamilton Ti-Cats- Glenelg
Minnesota T-Wolves - Wests
Collingwood - Port

Theres nothing like a big **** to wake you first thing in in the morning...

Great work BTW mero (as usual). The only thing i'd like to see is the North Adelaide 'V' worked in there somehow, but after looking at it for a while i'm not sure how it could be done.
