My biggest question mark over him as a defender was always not the overstated “lack of hardness” or “he’s not a defender” calls people were imo getting wrong here… but that he has not had much of an aerial presence as a junior / when he played forward / wing for us.

He’s shown a bit to change that this year I think

Our small forwards had one of their worst games since round 3. DBJ maybe the best of them, but SPP had a strangely uncompetitive game (especially before HT), McEntee possibly negated ok but didn’t get to the foot of the pack to crumb well. Narkle did a few good things but wasn’t great either.
