That had to be eye opening for the Dogs...

Not suggesting he couldn't ever make it as a good FB but he's coming from a long way back.
His best performances at full back are average at best, he is a world class centre or wing. He is not at all a full back, admittedly he has never trained full time to be one but jeez they are taking a gamble on him.

Super player though

Absolutely fantastic player - they're paying him and Ado Carr far too much money to both be wingers. Crichton will have to play centre at the very least.

This is one of the weakest Storm lineups I can remember in recent seasons, going away to Parramatta who have some cogs missing themselves, but I don't really have Melbourne as favourites here and would think Parramatta are a strong chance of getting the win.

tbh i thought storms pack last year was worse. bromwich boys and kaufusi weren't good imo. b.smith was pretty avg too. Imo this packs is alot more defensively solid but less explosive, especially missing Kamikaca. Both benches look weak. Agree that Parra strong chance to win, really a 50/50 game for me.

I remember Dylan edwards being pretty poor when starting at FB, he had hands like soap lol. Bulldogs have to give Crichton some proper experience at fb, I don't have confidence in Hayze Perham

I'm not excited for the Raiders first game. Kris is the last guy I would've chosen at full back. I happened to be in Townsville for our game against them last year, and Kris dropped high ball after high ball. I would've had Rapana or even Cotric at full back ahead of Kris.

Poor hands is very different to being completely lost in the position though.

He's good enough to get there but there'll be some massive growing pains while he learns it. And he won't be learning this year while at Penrith.

Yea fair enough but bulldogs aren't in a win now position anyway, imo they should give him a fair crack at it.
