Manly vs Brisbane - First of a double header, I think Manly can win this one, only Jason King backing up and he shouldnt be tired after the other night. Brisbane with no Lockyer and a few others missing. Should be a Manly win but who knows.

Canterbury vs Gold Coast - Dogs in the middle of a losing streak against a frankly rubbish GC side, game doesnt appeal much at all. Probably a Bulldogs win but wouldnt surprise me if the **** did ok.

Newcastle vs Parra - Tipping the Knights, they'll need to improve alot on last round however. Mullen needs to show something. Kind of hoping Hayne has a good game to increase his chances of being picked, but not expecting it.

North Qld vs Easts - Going to stick my neck out and say the Roosters, for some strange reason. Just think they might've turned the corner a bit with a scrappy win last week. Also want Carney to play well with NSW in mind.

Melbourne Storm vs Cronulla - Melbourne should be morals, although I said that before the Canberra game. Seriously tho, anything other than a Melbourne win would be a shock

St George Illawarra vs Wests Tigers - Tigers on their day the sort of side that can upset the Dragons, Have possibly a couple of players coming back against a Dragons side that had 8 players in Origin. This'll probably be wrong, Dragons are looking very good at this point, but just a small hunch.

Penrith vs Souths - Penrith played well last match but Souths arent going too badly at the moment either, think they might pip them.

Also, NSW is Norths vs Newtown at Henson Park, should be a great day tomorrow. Go Bears

Who's coming back? Lawrence? Tuqiri?

What the hell is going on up in NSW? More rain in the Knights v Eels game.

I went with all the home teams.
I was watching soccer in wollongong this morning then footy at Henson in the arvo, there was repeated appearances of dark clouds but it continually went back to sunny weather.

The saw it was teaming down at Newcastle. Bit over 18K there is a reasonable crowd

Well, that was pretty damn good from Manly. They seem to be quite the half-back factory nowadays, and seem to have found a promising replacement for Hodkinson to play alongside the increasingly impressive Kieran Foran. He's a tough little fella, isn't he? He must be black and blue after every game the way he plays, always in the face of the defence. Two lovely tries from Cherry-Evans; his first ever in the NRL I'm sure he'll remember for a long time, stepping his through the increasingly fragile Broncos defence to score under the posts, and finishing off the second with good support after a wonderful inventive banana kick from Foran and a terrific piece of skill from Stewart to catch and throw a miracle pass. Hopoate looks a real threat on the wing, too, and thoroughly deserved his try.

Well I don't know what to say about the hapless Titans, but you'd have to have a heart of stone not to feel some sympathy for them, as the video ref (rightly|) chalked off try after try. Speaking of Hodkinson, he had a bit of a 'mare, with three kicks being charged down in the first few minutes. I think it's fair to say the score flattered the Bulldogs quite a bit, as they spent most of the first half defending their own try-line. Young forward Srama had a good debut for the Titans.

Wonder if having alot less depth in the forwards is catching up with the Storm a bit (as well as having their spine backing up from origin).

Dragons Tigpies game was pretty good today, Tigers gave them a scare thats for sure. Still think they are the team to beat the Dragons later in the year, when they have players like Ellis Galloway Lawrence Tuquiri McKinnon and Payten playing. Dragons machine keeps on rolling on, however, 10 wins in a row.

Good point. We are a good side and that's all. Nothing more than good. Not great, not shit. Bottom half of the 8 was alwaysmy prediction for the end of the home and away season.

A side with Slater Cronk Smith cant be discounted, could easily win the whole thing come finals time. Could easily bow out in straight sets as well.

The Eels and the Knights wasn't the best game of rugby I've ever seen, and was low-scoring to boot, but still was quite engrossing. The Eels may tell themselves they played the better football, but their indiscipline as much as anything else cost them. Losing their play-maker, I couldn't deny the Knights their win.

One undercover stadium that can vary in size from 30,000 to 100,000 with super fast underground trains from all points in Sydney to the front of the stadium would solve all of Sydney's RL in the rain problems.

Either that or the fans use an umberalla...

Got to see the last few minutes of tonights game and surprise, suprise, it was raining again.
Rain+Suburban ground+monday night = rubbish crowd, and thats happened at least three times this season (Saints Cronulla, Manly vs Canberra and tonight).

Just watched Cowboys/Roosters. I know the Roosters have a few missing, Aubisson amongst others, but they really are poor this season, aren't they? And the Cowboys, who seemed very much a one-man team last season, have improved a lot. I guess a lot of the credit for that must go to Matty Bowen.

The Storm looked pretty ordinary to me by their standards against an ordinary but committed Sharks side. Paul Gallen is just immense, isn't he? Widdop had a mixed game; some good things, some not so good. These full games should add to his confidence.

Bunnies will overrun the Storm. Storm as flat as a tack and historically poor at this time of the season. Jump aboard.
