O Bree criticism harsh?

I noticed especially during trade period,a lot of people calling for OBree to be traded or delisted.I know he had an ordinary year,but when fit,still believe he is in our best 22.I agree he has on obsession with kicking on his left foot,which is damn irritating,but overall,dont believe his foot skills are that bad!He did miss many easy goals this year which was frustrating,but just reckon we should cut him some slack.Cheers guys,your thoughts?

O'Bree never ever puts his body on the line, he often takes the wrong option, is always missing his target with his disposal and his set shot for goal is pathetic. He had a good first year at the club, but has done nothing since. I can't believe he is still at the club

I think the criticism is justified, however he WILL turn around.

He can play great footy, but is dreadfull when he's out of form.

He'll get back to his best, people just need to give him time. Of course having said that, it's pretty tough to watch some of the crap he serves up..

Nah he's greatly over rated - based on one season. If he's in our best 22, we should be hoping the 2005 draft is a good one.

Personally i think O'bree's best is ok, but the thing about Obree is, is that he is soft like most collingwood players but he is very inconsistent either hot or cold. When cold, it's very good dam cold.

O'Bree is a good player not a great one but can be very handy. He was not the only player that had a crap year and whatever was going on within the playing group spread like a cancer. How The Frog could we not beat Carlton in round 22 is a great example of a playing group in strife.

O'Bree also was not very good in '02 and '03.

round 22 was a dead leg. Apart from the fact it was against carlton, there wasnt really any other reason to even want to win. Never been to a less exciting 1 point match in my life.

O'Bree is a disgrace to the club and jumper.

bottom line is NO other club wanted him trade week as he was shopped around.

just shows that the rest of the competition sees exactly what Collingwood supporters see............shame about our footy department.
