Bothwell won the flag by 38 points over Campbell Town at Oatlands, 13.11 to 7.9.
Jarrod Horne from the Rabbits got the BOG medal.
Good turnout for the game too.

I got given a copy of the ODFA Grand Final program today (yes, they do find their way all over the country).

Full credit to the association on an excellent production. It included a round by round write-up, past Grand Final results and leading goal kickers, team pictures and reviews for all clubs and also a look back at grand finals going back 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 years. Having been formed 70 years ago, there was even a write up on the formation of the competition.

Something for the fan as a record of the season as well as something for the history buffs.

Well worth the two bucks.

Not wrong! I read somewhere that if they do drop $750k into that gully that the cost per use would be around the $8000 mark for a single use facility, based on an estimate of a ten year life span. I wish them all the best, however in the SMC’s recreation plan it states their main grounds as Oatlands, Campania and Bagdad (upgrade pending) so the upgrades don’t really fit in with the plan…. Maybe a go fund me?

Came across the Mount Pleasant team of the century(1927-2001) list the other day and seeing as it's 4 years from their actual centenary,I was wondering who from the last 22 years would be a good chance of making the team if they re do it?

Nathan Barwick would be a definite but who else?

Triabunna have picked up ruckman Mitch Reeve from DOSA as well as Brendan Midson. They have also picked up Elliot Idstrom from Sorell and Zach Preist from Dodges Ferry Reserves. On top of this they have also picked up former TSL player Gareth Delaney.

I reckon if you asked the Woodsdale coach if North Melbourne will be premiers this year he would say “they can”. Reality isn’t his strong suit
