Every club has a lean period its the way the compeition is designed. See Hawthorns last 15 years as an example Let me ask you before Sheedy arrived just how many supporters did you have. In Sheedy's reign hes delivered 4 flags that deserves respect. But the thing is once that reign ends and Essndon go through a lean period all you aaraognt ****ass's will dissapear. You're right, every club has lean periods. Won't catch me debating that. However we've earnt the right to be arrogant, 16 flags does that. But I can assure you that I for one won't be jumping off if we have a lean period. The first year I really chose a club to follow was 1997. That year we came 14. If I was ever going to jump off Essendon it would've been that year, but I've stuck with them. And I will until the day I die.And people wonder why Essendon supporters are perceived as aarogant.

Last year we lost 15 straight games, but still had the 2nd biggest average attendance in the league (I think). I doubt any other club, including Collingwood, could do that.
