Good way to get your posts up is over on the main board.

Pick a thread you like and add your thoughts. Might be Rd1 vs Freo, of the injury list we have... or about your fav player....

Actually.. I would stay away from that thread totally for now.

I get BotsMaster is trying to be funny but that thread is certainly not a place I'd want to be referred to in my early days of posting.

You are correct however - just explaining there was a reason for it not just Mods running around changing shit for the sake of it..

Same ol S bend in the dunny it's always been...
Trying to look at something for maybe June/Jul but the schedule seems to only be one game at KP, then away games out of state either side of them.

Not helpful for me going to games and if I do fly north, west or whatever it takes the VFL out of the action too...

Not helpful for my attempts at all...

But gonna keep looking!

We always seem to have a huge break this time of year. I won't be getting to a game for at least 6 weeks anyway...
 
Got to love apple.

We just updated our phones. Mrs had an iPhone 5 with a broken power button for two years and was too lazy / busy / didn't want to be without a phone to use the free repair offer.
We wanted our daughter to have that phone.

Rang them. Repair offer well and truly finished. Phone warranty finished.
Spoke to a dude. "That's ok, I'll raise a return. You'll get a new one".

Sometimes it pays to pay.
 
1 hour to go until the fun begins.
We have a lane that runs down the side of our house and some kid has been throwing his school lunch over the fence every day.
Toted sandwiches etc. always fruit. Lcm bars. It took me a while but I pruned down a tree leaning into the lane to make it easier for him to do it. *s******.
And yesterday I finally caught him and got the photo.

There's crap everywhere in our back yard.

So I thought ' do I confront him, or do I let his parents know?'
So I followed him. And unfortunately for him the worst result occurred. Because he walked across the railway lines where a car was waiting for him. Which means I can get there way before him.

So in about 40 minutes I'll make the trek across the railway lines and fill in the parent.
And hopefully the parent will come back to my house to catch him.

Either way, he's going to be cleaning my yard. And boy o boy is he going to cop it all the way home.
He's year 11 or something. It's ridiculous.

Got him! Yessssss!

The kids dad wouldn't believe me at first until I pulled out the iPhone.
And even then, you could tell he still didn't want it to be true. And then as we stood in my backyard the inevitable happened and his face had the 'I don't believe it' look.

Really felt for him. A single dad. And obviously making a lot of effort with those lunches.

The other thing is, the kid is really nice.
So much so that after he cleaned up and I had a few words to him I said to him that if his dad is ever running late, or his car breaks down or something, just come knock on my door and I'll let you in without a problem and you can stay until your dad can get here.

And bingo, new iPhone just shipped from Apple.
 
Well if anyone cares (probs not) I ****ing found the bitch.

So I get home last night and think "I've got to ****ing find this ipod, it's now or never". (for the record going to the gym without music is horrendous and im over it).

I proceed to empty out about 3 drawers, a toiletrie bag (yes I'm really going thru everything), checking every "nook" "cranny", folder, behind book shelves, behind/in between chest of drawers- even behind the full length mirror (like actually INSIDE the mirror) it could have fallen down into- and proceed to crack the mirror because I half fall onto it accidently.

Yes it's all going well. No sign of the ipod.

Then I think "fine, I'll check the laundry basket under my bed again" (even tho I've gone thru it a hundred times before already). And there it is.

Ipod.

On the carpet. Plain as day. Under my bed.

Ffs. I almost cried. But didnt.

Later after having a huge yelling rant at my flatmate about my adventures to find this ipod, we figured out I sometimes listen to it in bed. Ipod got left in bed one time, probably fell down the side of it in the sheets, I changed my sheet the other weekend, ipod falls onto floor.

Am extremely relieved the thing didnt end up in the washing machine, which is clearly well could have.

Lol sif. I need a ****ing rest after all that.

The funny thing is- at least I found it, I listened to it while I packed my ****ing room back up, which made things a lot easier.


Gawd, am soooooo glad it didnt go into the washing machine. That would have meant $200 for a new one.

What type. Saw someone with the old iPod Classic. Loved it so much when I had one I felt like taking it off her and running away Seinfeld style with his Marble Rye. Still dirty they discontinued them :(
