Give me the original(?) any day of the week:

Yessss! I (generally) hate covers of songs. Especially when I love the original. Covers these days almost always pale to the original, and add some needless electronic element to it (plus speed the song up, why?). Give me originals anyday, I hope this trend of artists (in particular DJ's and boybands) covering already good songs ends.

Just to be clear, I have no problem with tributes etc, or covers from bands that grew up with and know the people of other bands who then go on to cover each others songs. It's the pure money grab ones with no mention of the original artist that I hate.

I wasn't the biggest fan of Graduation, but the Good Life is definitely a banger when loud on the speakers.

Late Reg/Dark Fantasy are his best albums- can't split them.

New Gods are probably the best band out of Melbourne at the moment. Dom just went a bit weird after Random Access Memories came out and started making weird arse dance music. Hopefully they'll be back to this sort of stuff soon enough:
