Well I can't speak for Delroy but it's not a matter of not liking it. It's more a matter of being utterly disgusted with the sound of it and considering them a disgrace to music. But that's me.

. Why? What have they done that makes them a disgrace? Are their vocals poor, are their production techniques poor, are their songs poor? What is it that makes them a "disgrace to music"? I have read one poster say that they are lame, whatever that means. Is that it? I am very curious.

Haha it goes deeper for me. I hate their sound. The disgrace to music was for effect.
I don't like pop music and I don't like that they covered these songs. In my opinion it's a poor attempt to get more money. Of course most music these days is about the money.
I am 47 years old and when I was 13 the "they are only in it for the money" mantra was strong. At that age I agreed with that. We used to say that about Slade and Abba, even David Bowie. Well Slade are old men now and to this day still play the same style of rock and though I do not listen to Abba when I caught a show on TV about the way they crafted their songs the reality was that they bloody well cared. As to Bowie what can be said about some of his early stuff other than timeless.
Are The Rolling Stones only "in it for the money" with their endless tours playing their greatest hits? What about the Eagles? They claimed they would only reform after hell froze over so they reformed and called their tour the hell freezes over tour
. That is rather cynical don't you think? And then there was the Sex Pistols filthy lucre tour. An admittance of only being in it for the money? Then there has been countless final tours by Kiss, Gene Simmons admits to a love of money. But you single out a boy band for your disdain. I am confused.

Was this on the Biography channel on Foxtel? If so I saw this recently as well and whilst not a fan of Abba found the show really interesting.
On the subject my beef with Human Nature is the fact they are probably the softest MOR act going around Australia at the moment and they did two (like one wasn't enough)albums of the greatest soul music that ever been written. This to me would be like The Wiggles or Hi Five doing an album of Clash covers.

In fact I do not understand Official Anti (name your artist) Threads at all. I would rather someone post an album review as to why the record is lame as apposed to the "they deserve death" prattle I have read here.
As I implied in a previous post in my younger days our group had deep discussions on the "only in it for the money", "could they play their intruments" etc. In hindsite it was hot air. There have always been boy/girl groups and bubblegum acts and their always will be.
I guess it now seems pointless when ones energy could be better served promoting the virtures of XTC
or Joanna Newsome's sublime new release for example.

I dont like them and their website contains alot of content that might help explain why I dont like them.
I have looked at the site. I have watched a couple of videos. They are a 4 piece vocal harmony group that dances. Inoffensive though lame. They seem to have a good production team behind them. They are nothing new. Not my type of stuff but then Wolfmother for example are nothing new and also are not my type of stuff either.

I have not heard their new album. My lifes listening of Human Nature consists of 2 videos on their web site. So therefore I can tell you nothing about their new album. Of those two videos I watched their cover of Dancing In the Street. It was an OK cover. Just like all the others cover versions of that song. As to the song and dance routine. Not my style.
I have no intention of starting a thread about them as I have no opinion as to their good or bad points. One poster who I respect mentioned they are musically lame, At first I did not get what he meant but viewing these videos has given me a better understanding.
The majority of posters on here have had a total inability to come up with anything of substance as to their dislike of this group. Commit violence seems to ones mantra. You have come up with the fact that you are offended that they are hetrosexual and act homosexual. Hmmm. I remember David Bowie doing something along those lines a long time ago. What I will is say that I did not get that impression from the videos is that they acted like homosexuals.
My point is why waste your energy on something you do not like. What are the point of threads of this type? Does one feel better because they have trashed a soft target? If it is possible not to why listen in them first place?
But as the old saying goes instinct leads, logic does but follow.

I disagee. IMO you hate them because they are rich, famous, have a lot of money and give pleasure to some people in a manner that you do not relate to.

You my fellow poster are arguing with me on a chat site. I suggest that you and I would rather be them and not even have to give a thought to the likes of you and I arguing about them on a chat site. They have some modicum of talent. They no doubt live in nice areas and drive nice cars. They can travel. They can purchase anything they like. They can walk in exalted circles. They can go sking in Apen. They no doubt lead interesting lives. They can do what they like within reason because they have a talent that some like. What you are envious of is that they have made it in a medium that you do not understand so therefore you lash out at.
Because you have admited your hatred for them and have not really explained it.
You and everyone else are more than within your rights to hate the music of Human Nature. To repeat myself, they is not my style of music/entertainment but I see no point in "Official Anti (name your artist) Threads". Why not talk about what you like in the music world. There is a bucket load of talent out there that needs to be promoted to the likes of me who are always open to new talent.

I am not an "intellectual person". I have no doubt a lesser education that the vast majority of people who post on these boards. I left school at 16 years of age with a grade 10 education and took up a trade in an industry I have been in for over 30 years. Just because someone puts up a logical argument against violence does not make them "intellectual". It makes them moral IMO. If you do not think I have an opinion on Human nature than you are wrong. I have stated it several times. I will state it again. They are no different than any other boy group through the years. Be they song and dance routine type boy bands like The Four Tops for example or boybands who played their instruments well and wrote good music like The Beatles for example. They have all had a place in contemporary and world culture. I have stated and I will state it again that I have watched the videos on their site and I am in not offended in anyway by the way they sing, dance or dress. How can you say I know nothing about the topic? I have stated as to what I have heard and seen of them. What have you seen and heard of them? Have you listened to their albums? As to wasting my time I will always speak out against violence and I will speak out against people stating that Human Nature deserve violence. They do not. They sing and dance FFS. There is nothing intellectual about speaking out against violence. It is moral and it is ethical to do so and if you or anyone else does not understand that then I do not know what more I can add.

If you think that you are as deluded as those that think that all the young girls and boys playing beach cricket in the KFC advert a stereotypical of the teenage to mid twenties age group or that Steve Irwin was stereotypical of all the Aussie males who live in the bush.
