How can you call Boof not a bowler? He is a genuine all-rounder. He always gets wickets when he comes on, he doesnt get smashed around.. makes it hard to score off him and hes even bowled well for Australia before.

1/33 off 11 at the moment, not a bloody bad effort on the first day at Adelaide Oval.

Symonds has to be played and bat at 6. He's the only bloke we have who has the ability to take a match away from the opposition in the space of one hour. He's the wildcard. He may turn it on only in every 4th or 5th match, but that's good enough for me. If he is the engine behind Australia winning every 4th or 5th game, i'll take that any day.

You cant pick Symonds for a CRUCIAL series like the Ashes just because he can win a game by himself every 4 or 5 games.

Say he single handedly wins one of the Ashes matches and flops in the other 4. How will that help us?
