The only black mark with trade period was the give up of Gore, why sell the farm if the guy was a free agent. Sometimes you've got to stand your ground and say we're giving up our 2016 draft as it is,"we'll choose the player."
The only saving grace I see is that Horlin-Smith averaged 21 senior possessions in the 3 games he played toward seasons end, he might give us something in coming years? ....And Smedts, I wish Wells never squandered the P16 he gave up for Billie.
We can rue and lament missed opportunities at the draft all we like, but we can't change the past. I too wish we'd taken Isaac Smith, instead we took Billie and let the Hawks get him which was a double blow. HS I've always been a fan, but did we "squander" pick #37 on him when Luke Parker was still available? Well, yeah... but let's just keep oir fingers crossed that we can get some value out of the above mentioned two in the years to come.

So can i refer to our indigenous players as a bunch of N word then?

Because you know, im not actually saying the word, im just forcing you to think it.
Not the same and it's a poor comparison.
The F word is a swear word.
The N word is something worse.
Surely you can see the difference.

But, if you've got a problem with swear word initials then maybe this ain't the place for you...

Make it the C word then for your sake.

The point is its offensive and childish.

I have as much a right to be here as you do.

The letter F is offensive?
Nobody is swearing. It's an initial.
I would suggest it's not offensive at all.

And relax, I never said you had no right to be here. It just seems that if at your 2nd post you're complaining about an initial that implies a swear word then maybe you need to rethink if this is the place for you cause that stuff pops up all the time round these parts...

A lot worse stuff gets said on here than someone using the letter F to stand for that particular word.

We all have different ways of expressing ourselves around here, and we won't always agree with how others go about it but being an internet forum there is a level of freedom to the speech and tone that is permitted to be used. In the particular case where Dangerfield has been referred to as PFD, the particular context of the word isn't directed as being antagonistic or cast a bad light over Dangerfield as it would if what was said was something like, "PD is a f-wit for signing with Geelong" (something Adelaide fans may have said), it is purely an exclamation of how good the player is and using the initial for that word in a context which is considered acceptable by the vast majority of the population.

Maybe if you are offended by people who are going to use language along that line you can either chose to ignore that particular post, or if it really bothers you and they continue to talk in a manner you don't like you can block them and then you don't need to worry about what they are posting and the language being used.

I like the look of Gore too BUT he was steak knives in this deal. A pick 50 with 0 games experience. Not saying he had shown nothing - he had been good in the VFL and in an area we were not strong in ( clearances and inside mid) but given we got PFD.. i'll take that everyday of the week and twice on sundays.

Its a childish attempt at avoiding the swear filter. Wether its offensive to you or not is irrelevant. Its crass and offensive to me and probably to the real PD aswell.

Im not new to the internet or to swear words.

Please show me where swearing happens all the time on our board.

That's not necessary. This is going of topic a fair way now. If you have an issue with a post you can use the report button and the mods will assess it. Although having read the above posts I can tell you that this specific example will be dismissed with no action.

So its like a term of endearment then?

I find that absurd and childish.

I will take it up with the moderators.

Can someone please tell me who to relay my concerns to?

Ok.

Can someone please refer me to the board policy on offensive language?

In the context it was used I would say it was a term of endearment.

If you have serious concerns or issues about any post you are able to report it - the report button is located down the bottom of each post.

Gore had a few quite ones as well he wasn't overly dominant, while Cunico finished off the season with some pretty big numbers, and GHS is a ready and conditioned senior player, 26 against the Hawks.
Gore may been good but then we'll wait on that I suppose.

Pick 9 and Murdoch.
Pick 9 and Cockatoo.
Pick 9, 28 and Gore.

Which deal would you do every day of the week? We made the right one, and I'm a Murdoch basher.
