As much as I like Kaine and he’s a ripper bloke, I don’t think we should keep him on. He really is a depth player who is always injured. I know he has had a horrible run, but we have to be ruthless. Players have to grab every opportunity they are given because you only get so many. We have a few like this and this has to be make or break for them.

Kaine is the best

Hands like a vice. Laser by foot. Great decision maker. Massive unit. Wartime head.

Lay off him, we need to all get behind him.

Herald Sun reporting its Baldwin and Edwards vying for the SSP spot, so Hoare has been replaced by Edwards.
Not surprised. Hoare is a good VFL defender but his average disposal and lack of speed are issues for coming up to AFL level

Edward’s is a forward, but not really the type we need. We lack the bear in the square type, especially with 2mp form issues. Could Baldwin be cover for both forward and back? Has the size, obviously hasn’t cemented himself in either position yet.

I think bears are almost a past time, need to be able to move and be agile now

As long as you can crash a pack (which imo Caddy does aswell as most) then shouldnt be an issue

Draper for now is also pretty big bear like and Gerryn will take over, although both move well enough for now

Last 3 teams to win a flag had 3 big forward half talls

Fort Daniher hipwood
Cox Cameron Frampton (McStay)
Hawkins Cameron whoever played ruck

Before them Richmond had Nank, Jack and lynch

You need the size they just can’t be slow

Visentini seems to be developing adequately in an ursi sort of way by all reports.

I dont see any bear there besides Hawkins

Daniher the next closest and relied on his athleticsm to jump abd move better agility wise than his 200cm on him

Caddy plays as imposing as any of those outside Hawkins

Suppose it’s all in definition semantics. Was Just highlighting that all
Those players were tall/long.

Bear or not

I always like the best back 6 om the best forward 6, but am fine with a stronger midfield

Zerrett, Durham, Caldwell vs say Parish, Tsatas, Hobbs isnt really that bad

Harry Jones apparently very good, but has to be an ankle as going well. Youd think he performing so well really putting pressure on Perkins and allow for Bryan to play
