I always like the best back 6 om the best forward 6, but am fine with a stronger midfield

Zerrett, Durham, Caldwell vs say Parish, Tsatas, Hobbs isnt really that bad

Yeah same depends on team depth as well.

I also take the exception to the idea that probables vs possibles builds team cohesion. Like that’s great until you have an injury and the replacement has never played with the rest of the best 22

Been reading about the matchsim online.

Possibles vs Probables is such a terrible way to train/improve. Especially with quite a few players missing.

Like congrats you got a highlight against an EDFl team with a few VFl guys sprinkled in
I will give you a tip. There is no full on possible/ probable. The red side does usually have more young blokes but the midfields are generally matched evenly when they have the numbers and pretty much every match sim sees some mids and forwards swap sides halfway through. The only group that generally stays the same is the defensive unit.

If Ridley doesn't come up for R1 do we look at Hayes or maybe Prior as a replacement?

Neither of those are a like-for-like swap for Ridley, they might play Cox down there or use Laverde as a 3rd tall alongside Hayes and McKay (assuming he's fit to play)

I'm not sure you can play McKay, Hayes and Reid all at once but that would be an option as well.

Prior is more a Redman type I thought, so likely to slot in to the role Heppell was filling?

How is Gerryn progressing?
Has not burnt up the track but he has done the odd nice thing in the match sim. To early to say much other than he has not done anything wrong.
