Whats everyones best Muse experience?

Ive seen them every time they have come out since about 1999/2000... The first time was at the Livid festival right after muscle muesum was release and hardly anyone were into Muse. They played on a side stage at about lunch time and no kidding only about 50-100 people were watching them. back then they had to use the generic festival roadies and they stuffed up the sound checks etc... Matt was pretty pissed, as the band had to do the sound check all over again (same happened to Augie March). I remember thinking how big Muse were going to become and felt so privilaged to see them. Once they played it was Muse at their rawest best!!! Never forgot it!

They're obviously a lot more polished now which won't please everyone.

Next year will be interesting as Muse will be celebrating their 20th year.
Reckon they'll have a lot of fun with it and bring back plenty of oldies playing some smaller venues along the way.

Would love to see them somewhere like The Palace in Melbourne, but that won't happen.

No. Just a band that changed as they had to.
I haven't liked the changes in some cases but there's still plenty of brilliant material amongst the cheese.

Interesting that the next album will be purely a rock album. May get back some of the older Muse fans if they get it right.
Still the best live band going though whether one likes to music or not.

The way people are these days, I'm amazed bands even bother releasing albums after their first. Apparently every band goes downhill and nothing's as good as their first album, according to the general public.

Idiots.

Always thought they could make the world's greatest hard rock album if they tried.

Looking forward to Friday, haven't seen them live before - the first time is always the most exciting.

Seen them twice and they put on a good show. Each successive album got more commercial, until the last which was a step in the right direction IMO.

I'm going on Saturday night as more often than not you get the rarer stuff the second night but that doesn't always work either.
Missed on CE for trying to be clever in '10 although I did get B&H which was just about the highlight of the night.

Looking forward to Survival and Unsustainable in particular and then any other goodies that come my way.

By the way those little Italians sure do like Muse. Went ape-shit over them on the new DVD.
They may just rival the French and English for being the most avid fans.

Looking forward to tonight. Seen them twice before and they put on a good show.
