Fmd they are brain-dead shots by Smith and Labuschagne
Smith the double frustration of now being on 9999 test runs. Won't be cracking that one at home on aussie soil

Can't wash out the sydney test if you play the game faster than the weather

They hold every test trophy they play for and the ODI World Cup. They'd have won more if they didn't care about climate change though :madv1::madv1:
Incredible really. Couldn't care less what Pat Cummins is in to, he's captaining a very successful era that rivals the success of those before him. Change has to come soon though. Very old team. Expect a few bumpy years ahead. At least 2/3 of the team will be retiring soon.

Batting can't get much worse tbh, but yeah we will feel the loss in the bowling department soon.

So to sum up yesterday , i thought Cummins decision to not throw the ball to Starc after lunch went a long way to getting the remaining Indians out cheaply . Khawaja showed us what he hasn't been doing all summer , Marnus is a battler now , but as a number 3 he should be doing more than just survive , played a couple of valuable knocks but hasn't made a ton for quite some time , Smith had an interesting summer , wobbly start , peeled off 2 centuries , took some ripper catches ,and dropped 7 chances of various difficulties , Travis is travis , and Webster did more this test than Marsh did all summer. Carey was solid all summer , no question he is first choice keeper , Cummins is a brilliant cricketer and a good leader, Starc probably shouldn't have played this test , but hindsight is easy , Boland took his chance and was excellent , Hazelwood was good early in the series but is finding it hard to get through a summer , lyon had the easier summer given the decks were not favorable for him mostly .
I understand T20 is popular and a money earner for the CA , but for me personally it just doesn't compare with test cricket . As for Konstas , exactly what this team needed , time will tell if he can cement a place but i suspect once he matures in test cricket ,he might put a bit more value on his wicket .
As for Kholi , someone should ask if he found any more runs in the pockets he was emptying . Bumrah deserving of player of the series , with a few Aussies right up there in contention.
Cannot deny what this group has achieved the last few years , sadly time waits for no one .
Bring on the Poms next summer !!

Virat spoilt brat Kohli... what a poooor loser. Just seems so childish at times.

If is wasn't for Bumrash this would have been a total wipe-out for the indians.
