The offers being few and low is a very strong hint to him ... but old boy Joe Dirt doesn't seem to be able to read the room like the rest of us can.

These clubs are probably offering him the right rate but he thinks he is worth more .

Ron Laffy. I don’t know too much about him and his previous football career or who he was involved with, i can only assume by his behaviour at his sons games that he might have had some problems. Think he had 3 kids. I remember one of his sons Darcy being handy, kicked 4-5 for wang against yarra in 2017 in the seniors then possibly won the 2s goal kicking? He went out to Glenrowan for a year then they folded after the following year. Think there was another boy and a girl. Happy to be corrected on any of the above. If he really is big laz I was in aware he was involved in the rovers

He's played some footy at CHB too so there's some positional flexibility at least.

I think they signed another forward too, didn't they early on, so key position forwards look OK. I haven't seen bradtke sign on for a geelong club yet, so they might get lucky there too, and get a couple of games in
