WAs batting look as thin as its been. Havent seen too much of Spoors or Critchell.

Where is Big Chief Sutherland?

WAs bowling attack still looks pretty decent on paper. But its their batting which can get exposed. I wouldnt feel too confident if im a WA fan, having to chase over 200, even if its a rain reduced 46 over game.

Winning the toss though , is important as it tends to favour chasing sides in wet weather games.

Im gathering the MCG outfield will be wet, so if the Vic batsman can hit a few of these early balls along the ball, it will get a tad easier to bat on as the game goes on.

That was a terrible bit of fielding on the boundary rope by Jhye Richardson there.

Richo makes amends with a wicket in the very next over. That was just a nip and tuck from Josh Brown, with no footwork. If your going to play a shot, go hard at least.

In a rain reduced game with possible rain interruptions , I still feel like the Vics have to go and play aggressively here.

With that forecast, we aren't sure if it will be a 46 over game. It could be curtailed to 25 overs........so yeah you just cant predict.

Victoria in all sorts now 8/2 off 16 balls and Morris and Richo looking like they are feasting on this wicket. It seems to be offering a fair bit of swing with overheads above.

And Handscomb could have been easily gone first ball.............3rd slip almost snagged that.

Victoria would take the 2 points right now, if you asked them too...............so it might not be a bad thing if this game is called off from a Victorian perspective.

Whilst I think Vics batting is a bit better than WAs. I just wouldnt have too much confidence in that middle order power hitting in a rain over reduced game. I mean we have seen enough of : Rogers, Merlo and Elliott in the Big Bash to know that they arent consistent enough.

So yeah , i reckon Vics would shake your hands right now for the 2 points.

I doubt anything clears until 1:30-2 looking at the radar. After that any significant rain kills the game.

Dude saying that this is a used wicket ....hence why scoring has seemed a tad harder today.
