But is it a good tactic? Seems to me that the bonus points are more likely when a side is bowled out. On a flat track an over rate of 5 is crap, but an over rate of 10 is needed for 2 bonus points. Not Likely. Yet bowl a team out for 120 or so on a bowling wicket and double that run rate is achievable. Just my HO.

Playing to our strengths. Besides its not a tactic when other teams get to pick the pitch.
