To be honest, most of the west coast eagles players aged 30 or over look old and beaten down. Eagles main priority is to help all those younger players aged 23 and under.

Shuey was good. Injuries have not helped.

Nic Nat is injured.

Spot on with Robbie Gray! He can still come up with some brilliant moments (won against St Kilda earlier this season thanks to Robbie) but his body is cooked. Been a pleasure to watch but surely this will be his last year and it looks to end on a disappointing note without even a Finals appearance.

From the Crows it would be Rory Sloane who's currently out injured for the year, although he is contracted for next season. In the last 5 seasons Sloane has played a total of 62 games. In about a dozen of those games he shouldn't have been playing because he was carrying injuries. He'll be 33 next year in a rebuilding team...

Robbie Gray was a good player in his day. I'm glad he is retired.

Shuey is just old and prone to doing strings. It isn't a captaincy burden.

Gaff comment feels tainted by the Brayshaw hit. Gaffs courage got him knocked out v Port a while back and he still puts his body in dangerous positions. He's just one paced and that's likely too slow for the modern game.

As for Sheed, it's his second game in 18 months. Frustrating he didn't use his right yesterday when he clearly should have but did so later in the match.
