One year on Feb 7 - Anybody still think infractions are coming?

The problem with Masters and co is that they are so used to AFL/NRL being the biggest thing in town, who can just deal with things.

We are all used to the AFL having a problem on the weekend and dealing with it by Wednesday. When an issue drags on for a fortnight the footy media and public begin convulsing, shuddering and rocking back and forth in the foetal position.

Those journos don't have experience with looking at doping cases. The only experience they have is accusing pesky foreigners of cheating or deciding that individual sports like cycling are diseased.

I mean Sandor Earle was provisionally suspended in September but is still not yet technically banned heading into February.

what is the situation with Earl
did he receive infraction notices?
has he appeared before the NRL tribunal?

That's a good question. He certainly got an infraction and "provisional suspension", but it wasn't clarified how long it was and a quick web search reveals nothing since September.

So has he faced the tribunal? What is his penalty? What is the go?

Well if you can't find any news about it obviously nothing will happen to him. Got off and rightly so.

Only thing I could find.

ASADA has not yet decided Earl's punishment, expected to take the form of a reduced one-year ban for use and trafficking of CJC-129

Infractions are coming, they are just dotting the i's and crossing the t's, working through all the interviews, identifying inconsistencies and will re-interview a select few.

Hopefully they arrive sometime this season with the all the Football department banned for ten years to life and the players 18 months to two years at a minimum. I would be happy with de-registration of the club for two years but sadly that won't happen.

If you dabble with the likes of hyperbaric"champion" Malcolm R Hooper and get him to allegedly inject your players then you deserve another 6 months for being that stupid. and

Ok, let's be facetious. I can play that game.

He trafficked! He made aggravated drugging! Process is so important! WADA are coming over the top!! LOOK OUT, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IT'S WADA!!!!

one thing I dont udnerstand
does ASADA decide the punishment?
"ASADA has not yet decided Earl's punishment, expected to take the form of a reduced one-year ban for use and trafficking of CJC-1295 in 2011 while recovering from a shoulder reconstruction."
"An ASADA spokesman said: ''When and what we say about any operational matter is strictly governed by our legislation. Under our legislation ASADA is unable to provide further comment at this time.''

Well you can say bye bye to Crameri.

I wonder why those that think Essendon are in the clear yet there's been no announcement to that effect? Surely if they were in the clear there'd be an announcement? Do you think the blackest day of sport will just meld into the background and it will all just go away, never to be heard of again?
Because if they did that, people like yourself would be up in arms about it.

Instead they just leave the investigation 'open', and wait for Mother Time to take care of people like yourself.

In a few years they could come out and say, 'Yep, they are off scot free', and by then the vast majority of people will have 'moved on'.

But they won't even bother doing that, because they don't have to. They have achieved their ends. The money will keep rolling in. Crisis was averted, as it was always going to be, as it always had to be.

Mark Twain once said that it is easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled. This saga, this board, is ample evidence of that. As time goes on, people like yourself will likely slink away from this board, never able to admit to themselves that despite all of their 'intelligence', all of their 'research', all of their 'life experience', they could be had so easily. Because it is hard to admit when we have been had.

When this saga was at its peak and the minority view (no infractions) was expressed here, those expressing this view were ridiculed and shouted down. We knew we'd never get apologies from the froffers, because admitting that they were wrong is not something froffers do (one of the many reasons why governments are rarely one-term, especially in this country, but I digress).

And people wonder why history is plagued with cults? It is easy. If you know humans, you can farm them like common sheep. Baa baa baa all the way to the slaughterhouse.

looks like we have another hirdist... baa baa

Ings tweeted
5 mnths have passed since @sandorearl accepted a voluntary suspension and admitted his ADRV. Where is his "expedited" hearing as per rules?

I guess its all caught up in the AOD CJC TB4 web

It's coming up on the first anniversary of the 'Blackest Day in Australian Sport' (lol).

An argument could also be made for it being the other way around. If there is no evidence of wrong doing then the investigation could've been finished months ago. It hasn't so there is still obviously something else going on. We won't know until they say something, which should be soon because this is a farce.

And this is why we are so easily farmed as a species: our propensity to see things through the 'us v them' or dichotomous prism.

Divide and conquer couldn't be any easier. Labor v Liberal, 'Hirdists' v 'foamers', 'leftists' vs 'rightists'. Too easy.

I'll tell you something - but not for your benefit since you stopped listening the moment you could speak.

Hird is a dodgy guy and a drug cheat. Any EFC fan who still thinks of Hird as any kind of messiah is unable to think critically and almost certainly of below-average intelligence. Not that being of above-average intelligence is any kind of feat, especially in our society today, but I digress.

I've been saying all along that infractions were highly unlikely and not because I don't think they are 'deserved', but because I am smart enough to see the world for what it is. To take sides in a spat between then AFL and EFC is like taking sides between Pepsi and Coke or Labor v Liberal; the realm of simple minds.

It is possible to open your mind, though. And, at the risk of digressing again, I put it to you and others that the fate of our nation, the fate of liberty in this phase of human civilisation, depends on us doing so, sooner rather than later.

Or you can keep on eating grain and wondering where the sheep who are put on the truck all end up. Baaaaaaaaa.

Based purely on Jacqueline Magnay - she said something would happen before Aus day.
That is fast running out. So Im starting to think the Bombers are going to get off.

Given we know they took aod and we know aod is banned - the only logical explanation is that asada gave efc some ambiguous advice on aod so they are stuck in a stale-mate on that.

The only consolation I have about all this is I don't believe the Bombers current list is good enough to win a flag clean.
