Carltons list is shit. People want to over rate it over a run of wins 2 years ago that still produced stuff all.

Their top handful are good, that's it.

Cripps, Curnow, TDK, Weitering and Walsh.

McKay- Soft and can't kick. Mentally weak.
Cerra - vanilla midfielder, usually injured.
Hewitt - tries hard but is slow and average kick.
Saad- has a few flashy plays but doesn't do enough actual defending.
Docherty- panics and turns it over.
Cowan - meh
McGovern- Spud
Young- Spud
Haynes- dud delist
Acres - has some decent games.
Hollands- meh
Camporeale- looks ok but nothing special
Fogarty- dud delist
Motlop- has some talent but is flakey.
Silvagni- has some talent but isn't tall enough or fast enough. Tries hard atleast.
Kemp- meh
Cottrell- meh
Lord - thought he showed signs he's a decent talent. Not sure why he's sub behind so many spuds.

List is more good. Wouldn't swap it for ours.

Funnily he was their most experienced player from the game last week. Hairline should have given it away but he performed like a debutant who'd never played that position in his life - and even FOS who was forced to play in the backline on debut cos Norf defenders have nfi did far better.

Hoos Giving the season’s first Heppell to Charlie Curnow. Watched the entire second half and saw him for the first time, on the cusp of three-quarter-time, taking a mark on the defensive side of the wing and saw him again in the closing minutes of the last quarter, getting a free near the centre circle.

It will be interesting to see if he's challenged for the rest of the round.

I forgot to nominate another Carlton player for his "performance" last week:

Zac Williams. I know it says 10 possessions next to his name but I honestly only noticed him when his boot was the last thing the ball touched before going through for a goal at one stage in the first half. Has there ever been a more overpriced, underwhelming player than this guy?

Easiest way to explain their list holes is:

- Who is their second best KPD?

- Who are their best two small-medium forwards?

Their list is a deadset mess, and when they have to pay a fortune to keep TDK it stops them from acquiring new talent. And they don’t have a first round draft pick this year.

They can perhaps make finals each year and even win a final, but they are so far away from a flag it isn’t funny.
