Thank god for that. Would have been a joke if they could build a whole new base there while we can't even expand slightly.

Yeah right, all in the space of 12 months it's all hunky dory fun under the watchful eyes of both their coach and captain...

Bowie sang it best...rabble, rabble...
What happened to Wayne Campbell?Jimmy Bartel was a champion player in his prime.
Now football director at the GWS Giants.
Thin skins at the Cattery, they have bristled at his criticisms of the club since he left.
This bloke could just buy the AFL.
Crows gonna copy us 100%
INB4 we hear they make training and playing footy fun , Coach will be more relaxed and approachable and start cracking jokes about his wife in press conferences .
What happened to Wayne Campbell?
Sorry I can only like this post once. The bleeding heart stuff when a player gets injured can be a bit over the top at times. These blokes are largely on six figure salaries and are living the dream. They will receive free world class medical treatment and get generously paid while they recover in state of the art facilities. Their football career may be halted somewhat, but I guess they will have to take solace in spending more time at their Brighton homes with their model girlfriends.
I get that it’s a sad moment and can derail a season to a degree, but some people carry on as if the player has died. I’ve done my knee playing football and I’d be embarrassed if I copped some of the sympathy these AFL players get. There are people out there who deserve that level of sympathy, like children undergoing chemotherapy and mothers will stillborns, not millionaires with a sore knee.
Listening to SEN the Monday after Bob Murphy did his knee, f*** me dead. I won’t forget the three minute audio clip they put together of Bob’s highlights. Ridiculous. It was more of a tragedy than when Phil Walsh died. They spent the whole week “grieving” for Bob and talking about how it “shocked the football world”. If you didn’t know any better, you’d think he was brutally murdered.
I don’t get it.
I reckon most of us soldier through injuries that would have your average footballer out for weeks...The bleeding heart stuff when a player gets injured can be a bit over the top at times. I originally was disappointed for picket but after reading that he came back over weight and not in peak fitness no sympathy for the who did the same thing at the Giants .
No wonder Cambo couldn't get him out the door quick enough
Another top 10 pick going to throw away a great opportunity

was pretty devastating when Richo did his, especially given he'd kicked 27.3 in 9 games.Agree in that context.
But I dare say it would be tested if say Dusty did a knee.
Dusty would be of the same scale for sure.was pretty devastating when Richo did his, especially given he'd kicked 27.3 in 9 games.
Nathan Brown was another one which derailed a great season.
