There was some miserable criticism of the charity match on the internet.
Pro-Collingwood scum on Twitter, Rohan CT.
The charity match was appalling.
Mr Football and Capt Blood would be turning in their graves at that misserable excuse for our great game.

I’m not dead and I didn’t even watch it last night. I chose to watch the final 2 quarters of both our cats and GWS 2017 finals instead.

It was good in the first few years but the format is just dead now. No-one is really interested in watching a bunch of old blokes put in no effort. I reckon it would actually be more interesting if they had a crack to see if they had the skills of past years knowing they certainly don't have the fitness anymore. It's for a great cause so I don't really like beating up on it like some have but I definitely think the AFL need to look at it and try and make it more appealing to the viewer.

Loved the first few years, it was essential viewing backed by big crowds and TV ratings.
I did look at the Connolly twitter out of curiosity, one comment stood out.

I only lasted 2 maybe 3 minutes. I Couldn't believe it had been reduced to that deplorable excuse for aussie rules.

Still remember going to one of the ej legends games capper kicked a snag and ran over to the boundary fence pulled down his shorts to show off a leopard print g-string and stole the guy in the front rows beer and drank it all

Watched the 2017 qualifying final again last night.
What an amazing game to be at, the night when I knew the dark era was finally over and a new Tiger era was indeed upon us.

Also the night signalled the beginning of Chris Scott's salt which continues to pour to this day, every time he speaks about us it's through gritted teeth.

I saw about 3 minutes as well. But I needed 2 separate attempts to do it.

The first few years? The Crowds peaked from 2007-2015, the first game was in 1996. It's died off since changing from 9 to 7 and being shifted from the School Holidays.
