Much prefer our fixture to West Coast's

Their last 3 games will be tough

Brisbane in Brisbane, then Collingwood in Perth (Pies actually play well in Perth) and then finish off with the Doggies at Marvel.

They play Geelong, Collingwood, Richmond, Port Adelaide, Fremantle twice.

Away games in Tassie against Hawthorn, Geelong in Geelong and Brisbane in Brisbane.

They can't afford to lose home games like they did in 2019.

Cats settle for home allocation

Geelong has described its nine home games at GMHBA Stadium next season as "acceptable".

It's the same number the Cats had this year, but they were hoping for more.
"The spread of games include two Friday night matches, five afternoon and twilight matches and one Saturday night game against the Brisbane Lions in Round 7," acting CEO Simon Kelleher said.

“Round 5 could be the highlight of our fixture, potentially with Joel Selwood’s 300th and Gary Ablett’s 350th game milestones will be celebrated at GMHBA Stadium in front of a home crowd.

“Both MCG home games have been fixtured in afternoon, family-friendly timeslots. Easter Monday is a highlight of the season each and every year.

“Next year’s fixture will also see the club host the fifth annual Powercor Country Festival, when we take on Essendon at the MCG on a Saturday afternoon. A great opportunity for families to get to the MCG and experience the festival in Yarra Park prior to the bounce at 4.35pm.”

Thats genuinely shit. Not sure they (or Freo/Lions/GC) should be playing in Tassie.

I never used to until that Salty Campaigner became their coach.

Add in Mr All Things GFC and the AFL himself Dangerflog, between those two Ive gone from respecting and liking the Cats to having nothing but disdain for them.

That moment in the 3rd quarter in the Prelim when they knew we had reined em in and were about to dispatch them yet again in a major Final was a wonderful feeling.

Nope, pretty sure Collingwood only have 9 legit home games, pretty sure hawks and kangas have 7 legit home games.

Always remember MEL, Geelong want 11 home games at kitty park but never against the hawks, pies or bombers and guess where the scats are quite happy to be hosting the Hawks and bombers in 2020 without any complaint whatsoever, yep you guessed it...the MCG.
