Can teams make a play on Maurice junior with draft picks?

If he chooses us then another club can pick him and we have to match it with draft picks.
The AFL assign points to draft picks, so if a club chose him in the first round basically we would need to give up roughly a round 2 and 3 draft pick.

But if they picked him very late in the draft we would give up basically nothing, maybe a round 5 pick.

Maurice jnr. isn't very highly rated so he probably won't go very high.
