small world. did you play with jack? mcdonald? bearded dude would get it 40+ a game around late 80s ? and manny nicolosi who went on to play at xavs
lol! Jack and I were MC’s at each others weddings and I’m godfather to his daughter.
Manny was the best player I ever played with and that includes Norwood.

The games never been better under Gil.

Bs 50 metre penalties for raising arms or moving a centimetre on the mark

Joke stand rule

Boring games generally 7/8 out of 9 games every round

Umpiring interpretations never further from consistent

And the to top of off check out these incredible crowd figures…….

Reigning premiers Melbourne vs norf 13,422

Geelong vs pears 18,721

And a whopping 6,040 people attended the edge of your seat thriller between dogs and fold coast

Only dreamtimes 70,000 and Carlton Sydney apparently 44,000 (very questionable) makes it somewhat respectable.

Gil S.hocking and that new numbskull b Scott have run a train on the anus of the game
Well said. And the crowd was 5057 today for Orange Plastics versus West Coast.

Haven’t seen much from nick Daicos this season to justify the hype.

whoever is CCJ's agent needs to be fired. The decision to go to Nth was terrible. They are dead last, disgustingly bad - and they are still playing an old dude like Goldstein over him.

If he was still a Tiger he would have likely been given a few games by now and a few more to come, playing next to Riewoldt, Dustin Martin, Shai Bolton etc. He left that to go play magoo's for north, yikes

Poor decision leaving Richmond, but he was thinking about money.

The only thing that can stop the Dee's winning it this year is themselves like us in 2018 - peaking too early and just having a bad week.

They legit could go 22-0 without being pushed it feels.

Maybe he's not much good. We might have bent North over here

I definitely think we got overs, but i also think sometimes you are as good as your surroundings. I certainly was happy with the haul we got, I referred to him as a rich mans Mason Cox, so i certainly didn't see him as a world beater. I thought Nth was an odd choice to begin with, but it just appears there is no real position for him

If he'd stayed at Richmond he'd be playing 9 of the next 10 years in the senior team. His issue was that this year wasn't going to be one of the 10, and he couldn't delay his gratification. Funny thing is, he'd be playing the next 2 or 3 games at least given Lynch will be out.

It might still work out for him, but he's left an almost dead set certainty for a career at Tigerland and rolled the dice for a quick payday.

Yep, which makes me think his agent did him wrong as he likely advised it thinking of commission, perhaps he had his doubts on his ability and just thought - get paid while you can, son.

Career suicide going to North. Manager is off his head.

I keep fancifully wondering if maybe there was more to this deal. We said you take CCJ, give us Tarrant and your 2022 second rounder, pay CCJ what you want. If you get to the end of 2022 and you are not happy, send him back to us we pay x of his contract, you pay the balance, and you get your pick back. We keep Tarrant. If you want to keep CCJ, keep him and we keep the pick. And Tarrant.

In that deal CCJ wins, Tarrant wins, Richmond win, and North get a growth opportunity. 😁
