Last time we were in Essendons situation we ended up making Gieshens continuation untenable by chasing Sheedy who chose Essendon.
After that we had prospective coaches knocking us back. I dont think even Gary Ayres wanted us back then.
We ended up with the late Danny Frawley.
They may end up with a coach who is not at Trucks standard. Truck got some good performances out of them this year and has his own mistakes to learn from.
You dont want to be replacing him with another up and coming assistant where there is always hope attached and new mistakes to be made.
Is that North Melbourne or Gold Coast? They are a poor club no money all the big teams prop them up and afl has given them millions over the year waste of space of a club
And Sheedy and the rest of the boys club. I'm really enjoying them still being there though.Yep they are emulating us perfectly. It was only frawley and elshaugh who were in the running at the end (no one else would have a bar of us) though there was a classic headline at the time "Royal for top job at tigerland? yes vote likely".
They need to get rid of Lloyd. That useless campaigner is as disruptive as Mal Brown was.

I thought Sheeds said no to Clarko? Wasn’t that what they were reporting last night? Or did I misunderstand that? I figured Sheeds was already campaigning for Hird’s return?Lloyd doesnt have a role there
He is just for some reason given alot of media jobs and is prepared to be outspoken on Essendon.
Mal Brown was saying disruptive things while working in marketing for the club.
Sheeds is the one who instigated this sudden chase for Clarkson. If Rutten cant continue is he going to push Hird.
My initial thoughts on Lloyd was to question his influence on the club (within), as I don't think he has much pull (?) but when you've got 70,000 members and a large number of supporters listening to him every week being critical of his team, and the only other option is Robbo, you can see how the masses would turn on the current personell pretty easily.Yep they are emulating us perfectly. Definitely getting ahead of himself there. Shows that he thinks too much about it, and therefore not up to it on the big day. Head case.Dangerflop says premiership is the missing piece.. what happened to one week at a time?
rutten got them into the finals last year in his first year........ the list is putrid. every player is soft as butter with no standout attributesLast time we were in Essendons situation we ended up making Gieshens continuation untenable by chasing Sheedy who chose Essendon.

Yeah soon there will be more umpires than players on the groundNot sure where to put this, but I saw they’re introducing more umpires to screw us over next year? That’ll be fun.
It’s ridiculous. Just get rid of the stand rule and pay holding the ball and we’re good to go.Yeah soon there will be more umpires than players on the ground
will make it worse not better. Not sure where to put this, but I saw they’re introducing more umpires to screw us over next year? That’ll be fun.
stand rule is the most shambolicIt’s ridiculous. Just get rid of the stand rule and pay holding the ball and we’re good to go.
stand rule is the most shambolic
but the goalsquare being made redundant is also hilarious, the way they just run past it when kicking out is farken mind boggling. I cant believe shocking and co signed off on these mickey mouse rules

It's the 1980s Richmond recipe for disaster. Knee jerk reactions chasing messiahs, internal reviews only, and (even worse than Richmond) personell still hanging around from the doping saga all points to it being a rolling poor culture into the future, which you can't create success off.
More snowflakes concerned and beside themselves over how everyone treats but yet under appreciates them? Not sure where to put this, but I saw they’re introducing more umpires to screw us over next year? That’ll be fun.
Basically, the only rules they really should be concerned about are…if a player gets hit high (provided they don’t duck into it) free kick to the player hit high, if a player is infringed in a marking contest, pay the free kick, pay holding the ball, and if a player is held away from the contest, pay a free kick. I’m sure there’s others that people find important, but those are the one’s I think they need to really zero on in.More snowflakes concerned and beside themselves over how everyone treats but yet under appreciates them?
Does The AFL have to pause the game on every whistle, put snowflake in a spotlight. Wait for STAND!!! to be screamed accompanied by 50!!! Releasing the fireworks?
Seriously, the game is overcalled atm. No significant level of umpire injuries curtailing careers.
Investment is needed in getting field umpires to make the correct interpretation of a paired back set of rules.
Spot on.
There are external parties influencing behind the scenes and they are totally unqualified to be doing so.
Richmond model.
Football people in the football dept, industry leaders in the boardroom. Checks and balances in place to red flag anything that could cause a problem.
Seriously, they put Sheedy on the board. Do you think he’s not having an influence on the FD? He’s not qualified…rendered incompetent in the last 5 years at Ess then all doubts removed at GWS.
Money men out the back then Lloyd in the media. Lloyd overrates their list every year and the masses believe him which just brings more heat on whichever coach is unlucky enough to be there.
Where is their Dusty? Stringer plays a handful of decent games per year. Spare me. Where’s their Cotch, JR, Lynch, Rance, Houli, Bolton?
And we are barely in the 8.
They are miles off it.
Funnily enough I’d love to see how their form stacks up after the afl sneakily chose to alter the stand interpretation. Here’s a classic bro just sent me.View attachment 1481043
