It’s my theory though that the umps not paying HTB is another way for the CFL to discourage players from tackling. If you tackle and the player hits their head on the ground you can be suspended. Hence players are reluctant to tackle.

If you know it’s unlikely the ump will pay HTB-again the players will be reluctant to tackle because, well why bother?

Just another subtle way of discouraging tackles so no one gets hurt, thus no concussions.

Pies missing DeGoey, Pendles, Mitchell, McStay, Howe, Cox, Mihocek, WHE. So 8 of best 23 and 4 of their best dozen.

So yes, Pies have injuries, but I’ll spew up if they cream their pants on how brave they are this week if they don’t acknowledge Dogs are injury farked as well this week.
