about 2/3 years ago when the four umpire system came in, they should have implemented 2 as senior umpires (most games) with his 2 assistants...... the senior umpire/s are encouraged and free to over rule any rediculous decision anytime they see fit.

Wonder if he’s seeing our young guys levelling up.. Has his shiny new toys at GC and the commentary ever since has been lucky he left Richmond when he did, but sometimes you don’t know what you’ve got until you’ve lost it.

With Dusty’s 300th celebrations he used to love weeks like this - he saw it as a big opportunity to teach the players about embracing and enjoying big moments such as this. You can’t buy the experience this will give the playing group. He’ll never get that with the GC and this week will hammer it home

Would have been desperate for this away win against Saints coz not many easier away games for them. Maybe realising despite lots of talented players he isn’t good enough a coach to do what all the ones before him couldn’t do.

Well he's definitely shown he's good enough as a coach, so there's no doubt about that. But he's now trying to do it in an organisation that is best described as a "franchise" rather than a "club".

It'd be like gathering up the best half dozen young musicians in the country and assuming that you're going to have a great rock band.

Automatic success by adding Dimma as their "songwriter" is far from the fait accompli that many in the media thought it was.
