Nope. He wanted big contested mids when he started. We kept drafting small flankers.

It wasn’t until we bottomed out in 2016 that they sat down and talked through what the list actually had and developed a gameplan to suit our talent.

Dimma always stayed out of drafting and I’d guess that Yze was given the same spiel. To leave it to the experts.

How depressed would you be if you were an Essendon fan?

Has to be the most vanilla list in the competition.

There's teams that just go about their business and earn the reputation for being a hard and tough football team to play against.

Then there is Essendon, who pump their chest with this 'Essendon Edge' BS and brag about it to the media, only to show up and play laughable undisciplined football and get dealt with accordingly...... You can't fake toughness.... Vanilla indeed.

Was awesome seeing Lloyd and Barret get stuck into him about him su@king off Mitchell and Hawks this morning. Kornes so full of claiming Mitchell's 1 year and 2 games into a rebuild. He took over with that facial succession plan midway through 2021 so he's coming up on 3 years in charge and has had 3 drafts now. It sh1ts me the contagious blood-lust the media have for some lesser name coaches, whilst pumping up the tyres of great players who truly are nothing coaches.

He was booed because he staged for free kicks.... He couldn't take it so he played the card.

Once he did that he was boooed even more. The crowd are like... Don't tell us who to booo ass clown.

The 15 year old Collingwood supporter that called him a monkey. She didn't know what that meant to him. He still threw her under the bus for political gain. What an absolute arseh*le.

Well put. I mean, in normal circumstances, you’d probably feel a teeny bit sorry for a club/fans that haven’t had success for a while but they’re not even remotely likeable.

She deserved the criticism, but he could have dealt with it a lot better.

That said, I doubt he was thinking much about her age in the heat of the momment in the middle of a game, he just heard a racist/shitty comment and called it out. I am sure later on he thought "hmm I guess she was quite young"..
