Genius coach my arse!!! Hawks might be tanking for the number 1 pick? After tonight Mitchell will be 15 wins from 50 games giving him a pathetic 30% winning ratio. Non favourite sons have been sacked with much greater results than that. I know he inherited a lousy list but wasn't as bad as we were when Hardwick took over. Hardwick was on 15/50 also but our trajectory started rock bottom and kept improving.

This season will be a farce if WCE, North, Hawks and us (now the injuries are too many) are putrid. Finals will have a few teams who were lucky enough to beat the cellar dwellers up repeatedly. Spewing cos I'm now hoping we keep losing whilst pumping games into the kids and fringe players and score a bottom 2 pick.

It ain’t easy going the full rebuild. People got carried away last year bc they played some decent footy at times thinking they’ll naturally progress again, but as is often the case with a full rebuild, there are a lot of false dawns. They’re ****ed for many many more years

Btw I also said three years ago and have banged on about it every chance I get we should have grabbed Josh Treacy back from Freo when he would have cost a bag of chips. Country Vic kid. He was easily the best big forward on the ground, dominated the air, tackles like a beast and busts his gut in every contest and he's an awesome kick.
