I laugh when SEN call him the Messiah... Messiah of what??? Losing flags, he is one of the most overrated coaches ever yet gets lauded for what he has done!
Him and Paul Roos both get way too much credit

Not saying they are easy but with the team he has had, surely winning more then 1 would be achievable. Also got spanked in 2022 GF

Then when teams still lost to Richmond,weazel Whateley brought up the "state of the game" crap.
Now his Cats can roam bruise free without the Tigers destroying them like paper mache like they used too.
Chaos football, lol that term which the media invented,we were actually more structured and skilful than the media wanted to make us out to be was better footy to watch than the footy we have now.
I fall asleep most games now.
Big margins,but where is the "state of the game"now.
It's all OK because the Cats are winning.

TBH I only go to the footy to get out and have a bit of me time. The desire to win flags is still there but after seeing 3 of them and all the changes the CFL have made and how much of a business it has become, I am slowly losing the urge to follow it like I used to.

Let the Saints be a timely reminder of any thoughts of trading out high quality players … they have had multiple top-10 picks in recent years … Phillipou, King, Coffield, Clark, Milera (11)…
They look as far away as any team from a flag I’ve seen, as they are desperately crying out for a couple of elite senior game breakers … like Bolton, Rioli, Baker, Vlastuin or Balta.
They did similar after their successful era … pushed Goddard, DalSanto, McEvoy out the door … and became a rabble for a decade.
We simply have to retain as many of our high quality players as we can, no matter the age. If they want to leave then sure, maximise the trade value. But let’s not push anyone out the door unless they are easily replaceable (ie Graham, Broad or Short).

Supercoach Rossy benched Luke Ball in the 2009 GF (when he was actually playing well, could've provided strength around the ball in a tight finish). Then let him walk to the draft!!! Sold him for zero FMD. But kept playing Zac Dawson. Good lord.
