Veteran journalist Caroline Wilson said the club’s recent internal review, steered by Mahoney, didn’t look favourably on Dodoro.

“I’m not sure Adrian Dodoro’s role was strongly supported (in the internal review),” Wilson told 3AW.

“I would be pretty surprised if he was let go before the draft and trade period.

“I don’t think he’s done a terrible job, I just think the divisions and the political relationships involving him are too dangerous.

“I just don’t see both of them [Dodoro and Mahoney] surviving.”


However, while Dodoro’s 20-plus-year tenure at the club appears to be on shaky ground, Wilson felt Mahoney had a much stronger chance of surviving the clean-out taking place at The Hangar.
