That was a good result for Tigers. Dogs at 0-3 would have been media bashed all week … season on the line, Bevo should be sacked etc… we saw tonight what a media firestorm can do for a team - go from getting smashed by 50+ 2 weeks in a row to beating a top-4 candidate.

Doesn’t mean we will win, but it does mean they won’t be media bashed, and a team on the end of a media pummelling pretty much guarantees maximum effort for 120-minutes.

Just watch the deplorable Hawks and the 0-2 Dockers this week to see what the media blowtorch does - Win, lose or draw I bet they put in great efforts all game.
