Got to give credit to the pies, they ran all night and I didn't think they would.
I'm not convinced their defense is as great as the media make them out to be. Their defensive strength is running it in numbers and pushing back to then sling shot forward which helps their backline.
You can see elements of the past us in their handpass game and running.

Geelong tried to match them playing that style which they also used last year to success but couldn't keep up with the pies.

Only round 1 but I thought both teams will still be up there this year, it's a long season so will be interesting to see if the pies keep it up.

The biggest fear for them is where can they improve? They were very good but not a lot of benefit playing that well this early. They’ll get picked apart as the season progresses. Last year they flew under the radar.

That's my belief too, however you got to bank as many wins as you can. I think they will do that. Can definitely see them in the top 4.

Melbourne & Brisbane also I believe top 4. The 4th spot is up for grabs.

Yeah not sold on them by a Long way .
Round 1-5 always sh”ts me as some teams ( usually Carlton and drug cheats . Saints) go really well and then implode .
That was collingwood grand final last night versus a Geelong that tin Arsed a flag last year .
Happy for the minnow club to beat the team from krapdinia park.
