Good point, you would be correct most that would apply Richmond would make contact with to gain their interest. I would assume the main one to apply is the care taker. Unlike what others have said it's not going to be gifted to Mini.

It's all done through the managers...

Player managers also manage all the coaches. The player managers are into touch with every club on a regular basis.

I doubt anyone officially applies, more so, if there is enough interest between the club and the player (coach) manager, then the prospective coach would indicate via their manager they wish to apply. I would be certain, if there is someone the club hadn't thought of, their manager would have pushed them forward anyway.

The only people that apply are those that have zero chance.
Everyone else in the process will have been approached by the club or our agent to gauge interest. If there is interest they’d be invited to have an initial discussion then if still “alive” be invited to pitch.
