I read it but I'm confused why the Bulldogs are liable for 6m? Did they know he was abusing kids and just swept it under the rug like the church? It doesn't really go into it.

9 News article stated that it's because the jury found them negligent. I don't exactly know why though. None of the articles I came across explain that.

Although a huge issue for Bulldogs' finances (they're probably taking out a loan to pay this), the AFL will find a way to prop them up somehow.

They'll tax us and the other three big clubs an extra $1.5m and job done. I've said this before but they literally think of club money as their own slush fund to take as they please and I know this to be a fact.
