Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide will take care of the next bunch of flags and it is being orchestrated to perfection by those in charge. It’s a business first and foremost and they will keep throwing everything at those interstate markets. The academies seem to be the way they get a leg up now? West Coast will bounce quicker than most too. They don’t stay down too long those big interstate clubs.

Great comment, 1 interstate Premiership and 3 Victorian team dynasties in 17 years doesnt look great for a National competition. Admittedly Brisbane & Port should have both won the Covid flags given their advantage but blew it.

Yep, Luke Jackson and a utility like Brayshaw were their point of difference from the other clubs. I still think Petty in the side makes them dangerous but given hes absolutely off to SA next next year, not sure how many games he'll get
