Adelaide and WC both stink at the G. Port I don't bother with so not sure where they're at in regards to playing here.

Not sure whether Port will finish high enough to play a final against us at the G anyway. Yeah, they beat us, but we were several layers of shyte and we still only lost by 13 points.

I imagine it’ll be similar to the Geelong v Richmond qualifier last year.

Both teams play a very similar style of football. Would be fun to see how we go against them on the G.

One big weakness of this view is Melbourne isn't getting any new parkland, so what councils get they won't give up

There is zero chance of a six storey office building being approved on a major Melbourne Park

Greens will lose their shit
Rich nimbys will lose their shit
Council will lose its shit

Yeah, and they cop a lot of stick for complaining about issues perhaps they shouldn't. Without delving in to that, it's spot on for them to complain about this. We absolutely do not need to build another football oval on Yarra Park when, within 1km,you can acess the MCG, Aami Park, Punt Road, Gosch's Paddock and Collingwoods ground

Absolutely spot on, I take my dog for a walk once or twice a year in those parts during the off season , I’d feel poorer for the loss of those vast magnificent parklands , plan b it is , Casey fields , you know it makes sense
