I sat with Lions fans when they won their three-peat against us in 2003. In-laws are fans and got me a ticket in the area set aside for Lions members.

Dear god, I’m still scarred from the experience.

Geelong were really banged up in the last quarter. They looked like they’d been to war.

An amazing game played at an amazing pace, with brilliant individual efforts.

Loved it, and look forward to the Swans romping home next week.

But for the GF? No way should we want Brisbane to win. Were you not born weVi, or asleep in 2002 and 2003? Those GF losses were heartbreaking, with all the advantages Brisbane had. And didn’t they gloat and boast.

What’s wrong with you lot? Get a grip. Never forgive and never forget. Who cares if Sydney have Papley. Who cares if Brisbane are coached by a doddery old bloke who people think is ‘nice’ (not everyone agrees with that).

I’ve been traumatised by lions fans in recent years. It made last year very sweet. They deserve more pain though and not joy so soon

Definitely barracking for Swans this year. Aside from being scarred from 2002-2003, my mate who supports Sydney had a stroke prior to the season starting, so l am barracking for them to give him a bit of joy and give him a fillip in his lengthy recovery.

As for me..

Go swans.

I don't mind the swans.
As frustrating he can be, I enjoy how Papley plays haha. He's entertaining. Reminds me of someone else..
And Grundy deserves a flag.
Also Heeney is a star.
They have been the best team all year. They remind me of us last year.

I know some lions supporters that I really would love to see them back in their hole. They really have stuck it up to me and my friends pies fans for years, so I'd like to see their pain keep going lol
