Hawthorn bottomed out more or less for 6 years. They reap the benefit of selling players with currency and loyalty is not a factor as such. They used their draft picks well, recruited incredibly well, were able to manipulate the system to get Newcombe (? Spelling) after which the AFL as I understand it have closed the loophole and have astutely picked up players from other clubs.
I can’t stand them. Grubs in my humble opinion.

First half he had 8 disposals and 1 goal assist, was uninvolved. When game was hot he wasn’t a factor. Thats how I saw him tonight. And his issue IMO

But if the rest of the competition catches up/works them out, could be a flash in the pan season (their history suggests otherwise though)
