Spare a thought for Dan McStay actually, who was starring in our prelim and got injured, then missed our Premiership (against his old side).

Then he does his ACL in preseason, fights hard to get his chance to come back, we miss finals, and his old side goes on to win the flag.

Poor bloke! He carried himself well throughout our celebrations too I thought. Wasn’t making it all about himself.

Hope we get back there again and big Dan gets a Premiership too.
