Luke Cunningham on the move apparently offered $150 per game at a Club not too far away from Tigerland .

That would be the second or third punch up they have been involved in at te northo wouldn't it? Can't be a good look at one of the footyclubs major sponsors.
Tarra and Yackandandah always line up a whole club practice match each year.

Might be a few clubs not keen to work on a practice match with Tarrawingee after what i heard happened last year with their coach booking matches then pulling out.

Tarra already had two practice matches booked in before Christmas so doesn't seem to be any issues!

In answer to your question, firstly it depends on the individual & what their priorities are with respect to their footy.
I know terrific players (& terrific people) who'll play for next to nothing because they love the game, the atmosphere & the feeling of being involved in a football club. At the other end of the scale, there's a minority who shop themselves around to the highest bidder.
Secondly it depends on how much $$'s clubs have available. I would add that recent splurges by certain clubs have only served to "muddy the waters" with respect to what a player is worth at O&K level. This in turn can create an unrealistic expectation for all concerned & makes it even more important that lower clubs focus on & source quality individuals for which money isn't the key factor.

I don't know the player but that sort of money was around on O&K when I played in the 90's
If player payments can be held down then great
Just asking the question as it seemed low $'s for someone to move clubs now days
If the club has a good culture and history of success ( not always flags) then a lot easier to recruit/retain
It's not a high figure for senior player these days. But it's a fair bit for a reserves player...

Sounds like a rumour to me but apparently ex AFL player Brock McClean has friends and family in the region and was looking to play a game or two for Tarra, could either be a big juicy rumour or Tarra have a superstar on there hands for a week or so
