He could have used a permit only if both leagues have an agreement which allows them to do so. At present the O&K only have area agreements with the O&M, GV, TDFL, Benalla DFL and the Wang Junior League. So if you don't have an area agreement the only way to get around that is to apply for a clearance for the day and then get cleared back which both clubs would have agreed on. Hope that makes sense.

I can understand a player wishing to get a bit of extra match fitness, but for sgambelloni to go and play 1 game for what seems to be a lowly ranked division 4 club in the efl doesnt make any sense to me, is there actually more to it than what really meets the eye?

Thats why they won played like a team all day was also a good game to watch.

thats true, but what about promoting young guys and giving them a chance..Muraca is passed it, what about young guys in the whorouly twos like guilfoyle or others like that. what about giving them a chance???

Good point rumble.
I went to the game and it seems Whorouly dropped off a fair bit. Seemed to lack a bit of pace hardness in the middle. A few kid in the twos played well, but not much to come up.
It was a close game until Moyhu started playing good wet weather footy and kicked long and stopped handballing
unnecessarily.
Young McGeehan played a good game across half back.

Did Bright reserves forfeit against Tarra yesterday? How can they go from winning a grand final to not being able to field a side the following year. They traditional have been slow starters I wonder if this is the case - Any comments ??
