Harris is not playing football anywhere this season he is moving to geelong soon and is not interested in playing. had back problems last year and wants a year off. Hickey played at CHB on the wkend because sgambelloni did his shoulder again but has been playing many positions.

Pretty tough start to the season though. Whorouly, Greta, Tarra, Gelnrowan, Milawa, not the easiest start to the season. Benalla this week, should be a cracking game! What do you think slim, how does Benalla win this game?

Don't know about that comment?! Has been a great leader on the field for the young blokes in the side this year, is a strong body over the ball and very rarely wastes posession! Leaves a big hole in our midfield/backline.

Slim - full credit goes to the Valley Boys I think. They really gave us a shake. They tackled, harrassed and worked very hard. We turned the ball over constantly and really stuggled to get the ball to our forwards in an effective fashion.
We didn't look like winning until late in the last quarter, when; I think, our midfield got on top. Putting Ben Craven into the center late in the last qtr was a master stroke if you ask me.

Bright looked ok on Sat. Chris Hickey tore the game open early around the middle. Blacks lost a couple to knee injuries early which didnt help, both will be out for some time. Sgambo didnt play.
Heard that Sgambelloni has injured his shoulder and will miss a few.

much the same as Greta a couple of weeks ago , only decided to pull the finger out once we were in deep trouble , plus there was possibly another influence but thats probably going to sound like sour grapes so i wont go there. Credit to GR they have quite a handy side and will be pushing hard come finals time.

Thought Bright won through their midfield as u said hickey was very good all day also nightingale, benstead, chalwell provided lots of drive and run. sgambelloni dislocated shoulder again against milawa and heard will have scans this week but should be back.

This weekend should spread the log jam out a bit with the top 6 and bottom 4 sides up against each other. Conversly it could become worse...... Anyone got odds on the G/rowan-Whor game resulting in a draw.
