Sounds like from all reports there was a scuffle up the street. Wasn't there so not much more I can say.
Wouldn't have thought it would be a good look for King valley with their coach having a crack at the Milawa Footy club on Facebook!

Pretty ordinary stuff. But the constabulary captured the culprit so the courts can deal with it.
Not a good look for the club which already had the shittest reputation in the region for this kind of thing.

So do you think this will have any effect on the Club drawing any recruits?
Sadly in this day and ages money talks and moral values mean little. So no i dont think it will effect much.
But the club should make him (if the courts dont) do volunteer work with people suffering brain injuries, just so he realizes how stupid his actions were and what the result could well have been.

This is very true! Most of the time we only hear one side of a story. Violence never solves anything. The person may feel good for a split second but it can effect so many lives depending on the outcome of that one punch.

From What I can Gather, I think the club is bringing in more locals back to the club, but not sure for certain. Darbs and Godsy are both pretty clever and will have looked at the points system before making recruiting big, but I see your point was a lot of imports last year who were worth a bit

Can Anyone Tell me how this Points system works when I looked at All clubs on the NEB Draft All The O And K Clubs seemed to be over even the struggling teams, so how can clubs recruit when these not much to play with in the pool
Everyone who remains at a club after a season is reduced by a point until they reach the minimum of a point. So if you were on 3 points last season you would be a 2 point player this season. If you were a 1 pointer you would stay on 1 point.

Also a lot of the 3 and 4 point players last season were actually reserves players (points loading for switching between clubs). Doesn't matter how many points you have in the reserves - it's only the senior side that you need to limit.
