Don't know where you get your info from Daisy but I can assure you that S.J. has not made any committments to any side at this point in time. Main concern at the moment is trying to get the Lions over the line this weekend against Benalla. Has had a meeting with Wang. but at their insistance from what I believe. Was talking to him the other day about his future and a lot of clubs have been chasing him for the last couple of years. He will not make a decision until mid to late October. Will be a huge get for whoever the successful club is and his reputation speaks volumes, (Just ask anyone at Seymour what they think about him).daisy_train said:Steve Daniel to coach Wangaratta?

BB Saints are also on the radar.
They are telling people all is not well at Corowa-Rutherglen.

Just reading what they had in the border mail.
Could Saad come to O and M, thats what we all readlly want.
Peter Heath is no star but a good solid player and a good bloke.
Strong whispers Sparks Lenon is desperate to coach North Albury but is having issues with the relocation. Thoughts?

BIG "H" said:In the 2 weeks leading up to the grand final we had a number of absolute brain dead people with no idea about footy telling us how good Myrtleford were an how much better they were than last year!! BUT THE TRUTH IS THEY CHOKED FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW!!! The big money spenders have done there $ again HA HA HA!!!!!!
Im sure there will be a lot of questions asked up in the hills over the summer, is there enough in the money bag to have one more crack ?? I hope so I would love to see them go "3" in a row!CHOKE,CHOKE,CHOKE!
Agent said:For a person to say that they are mates of Myrtleford players and then say the above is certainly *****HOUSE mate. I'm sure that most of the players that you know so well would like you to say that to their face. Good on Myrtleford for getting into the Grand Final for the second year in a row for the first time ever. As they had around 45 local players most of which play for peanuts I'm believe that they will be able to be competetive next year. It just goes to show that the Ovens Valley produces some pretty handy footballers.
As for the choking, if Myrtleford had of won the toss it would have been a different game, they might have still lost but it would have been a better game!
pjfalt said:ps: i am glad to hear yarra's hotel/motels are booked out during the winter with all of their out of towners, i think the hoteliers are the real winners out of all of this!!!!!!!!
RiverinAFL said:A Mild day with showers is predicted so probably drop it to 15,000. Similar to 2005

Anyone know the final crowd figure ?
AGENT As for the choking said:CH CH CH CHOKE!!!!!
To get on here and constantly bag Myrtleford in regards to what they spent on players just smacks of Sour Grapes!Sounds like you may hold a little bit of a grudge against someone Big H!BIG "H" said:WHERE HAVE THEY ALL GONE ??????

In the mix said:I don't follow either club but you are a loser and have not 1 friend at Myrtleford so stop pretending you do!
And I'm tipping you haven't got too many at Yarra either, or anywhere for that matter.
I bet you're an ugly, little pip squeek who can't kick the pig skin too save himself who is probably still a virgin too!
Now %$^& off and go celebrate a flag you had absolutely no involvement in whatsover!!!!!
Woo hoo!!!!!!!
A ha ha ha ha ha ah aha ha ha !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree mt hope pub, just wanted to get rid of this little parasite first!
Mt hope pub said:Gents this is my 1st read of the O&M page. Maybe it would be best for all if they came to the realisation that 2006 is over. No amount of bagging is going to change anything now. Well done Yarra, and well done Myrtleford, the two best teams all year. No one choked, just the better team won on the day. Simple.
So what is going to happen in 2007
What are the player movements going to be
Thoughts?
