I’ve just gone through the rest of the draw NBM, unfortunately for you guys I’ve got Bright winning 4 of the remaining 6. I’ve got you guys winning the next 3 (two should be big percentage boosters), but then it’s Blacks, Milawa and the Tigers. You need to win at least one of those for it to come down to percentage, which one do we fancy for an upset?

I reckon you forgot to check the ladder as of round 12... we are 4 points clear of bright, so if they win 4 and we win 3 as you predict it will come down to %.
We have to focus on beating Whorouly first before we worry about a % boost

6 out of 12 teams is about right I think, gives some reward for the teams that improve and break away from the ‘also rans’ It also increases the advantage for the team that finish 3rd and misses a double chance, they get to play a 6th placed team and should win through to the second week of finals easier than the team that finishes 4 and 5th.
In a 10 team comp the finals have to resort to a final 5 I would think.

I need to express my disappointment. On the advice of that casually dressed young fellow on the Friday facebook thingy I went and purchased the Chronicle to see the wonderful O&K snippets put together by that other young fellow Wilson and his team... Where was Mr Wilson's imput... not so much as an inkblot from him.
I'm sure the other young fellow (and Wilson lookalike) does a fantastic job but sadly no Wilson. Nonch please reconsider. I hadn't been able to afford a chronicle since you left and spent my last $1.40 which was for my cat food I miss your hard hitting and incisive style...

Think you will find Mr Wilson on leave at present Slim! Which I am sure he is entitled to. Hopefully he has some great stories as we get to the business end of the year or some D Barrett breaking stories!
Then again maybe he is weighting up the coaching options from local clubs

Massive disappointment today.... Have Milawa changed hot dog suppliers.... As a club we always looked forward to the luscious hotdogs.
Ah slim I do miss the adulation of my number one fan. And I must admit that I suspect my efforts to add a bit of culture to the sports pages of the Narooma News are lost on those to whom Australian Rules is a second language. But do go easy on Potter. He’s a sensitive lad, and a bit special.

Heard Milawa defeated Benalla without Allan having a huge impact. Bit of a warning shot.
Lewis also out for the Demons.
Was Benalla close to full strength? How far into this result can we read?

I reckon it shows that Milawa have been ticking along nicely and are the team to beat along with the Dogs.
Allan not having much of an impact, Lewis played in the ressies as he recovers from a finger and Mclounan not in the best of hitting the scoreboard.
Still somenupside for Milawa, blacks been the form side but I just don’t see them winning it without Moran and Ellis.

We lost Riley Moran in the 1st qtr with an injury, and Harry Ellis in the 3rd as well so only 1 rotation left for the last qtr and ran out of legs in the end.... still 2 or 3 to come back in... Take nothing away from Milawa tho they were very good.

If X Ham keeps off the piss for a preseason he could play at a much higher level than he is currently. Good young player.
