Overseas and out of luck

Can't believe I cannot watch AFL live online anymore. I live in NZ and although they are trying to expand our great game around the world, there is no-one who can provide a service to those living here. Why bother having a game in Wellington on ANZAC day if interested people can't even watch the games. They keep saying they dont have the broadcast rights , so who does. Should i be angry at LIVESPORT TV, The AFL, Australian Broadcasters or SKY TV who have rugby plastered over 5 channels and show one (token) game a week of AFL.

Very frustrated over how hard it is to watch the best game in the world and i hope somebody stands up and does something about it really soon.

The AFL took the rights away from Livesport... so dont blame them (livesport that is).

Sky know their audience, and lets face it most folks here couldnt care less about AFL.

Apparently we will be able to view through the afl app on Android/iTunes, but i have no idea why we cant watch on afl.tv

The afl have updated the app. I'm in the uk and was in the same boat, but now you can watch games live if you have wifi.

It's $90 for the whole year

Blokes, get the AFL.TV app and pay the $15 a month or $90 for the year...then go down to the apple store and buy an Apple TV unit for NZ$159 so you can stream phone or iPad through the tv. Quality is junk but solves the problem of sinking pess watching the footy on a big screen. No idea how you do it without Apple products.

Are the AFL absolute morons, promote the game in NZ but take away TV viewers. Idiots.

Could probably get a HDMI out to do the same thing right? Plug it straight into the tv and away you go
